Professional Career

Marius Vischer joined our firm in 2018. After completion of his studies at the University of Zurich, he worked as an intern at the Competition Commission, a commercial law firm and a district court; he was admitted to the Zurich bar in 2016. Before he joined our firm, Marius Vischer worked as an attorney in a renowned Zurich commercial law firm, where, among other things, he gained specialised knowledge in antitrust law.

Areas of Expertise

Marius Vischer reviews and drafts contracts, leads contract negotiations and represents clients in proceedings. His main focus is on legal advice in IT- and technology-related matters, contract law, procurement law, corporate law, competition and intellectual property law as well as data protection law. Marius Vischer is also the editor for IT law of Weblaw’s Digital Jurisprudence Commentary (Digitaler Rechtsprechungs-Kommentar; dRSK) and regularly gives training courses and workshops, i.a. in data protection law.

Handelsblatt and Best Lawyers feature Marius Vischer as one of the best lawyers in Switzerland for technology law and Leaders’ League recommends him in the areas of TMT (“highly recommended”) und Data Protection (“recommended”). Further,  WIPR Leaders 2024 feature him as “leading IP practiotioner” in Switzerland.
