Professional career 

Carina Fröhli joined our law firm as an attorney in 2024. She completed her Master's degree in law and economics ("Law and Economics") at the University of St. Gallen. Before being admitted to the bar in 2018, she completed internships at renowned law firms, the District Court of Wil and the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Canton of St. Gallen. After passing the bar exam, Carina Fröhli completed a PhD at the University of St. Gallen on the topic of "The application of principal’s liability in the context of corporate groups". Before joining our firm, Carina Fröhli worked for a major bank as compliance and legal counsel and for a renowned law firm. Carina Fröhli also holds a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) Compliance in Financial Services from the University of St. Gallen. 

Expertise

Carina Fröhli reviews and drafts contracts, leads contract negotiations and represents her clients in legal proceedings. Carina Fröhli’s practise focuses in particular on commercial and contract law, M&A transactions and she advises on corporate governance issues. She also practises in the areas of IT and technology law, intellectual property and competition law as well as data protection law.

In addition, she represents clients in (commercial) criminal law matters. In particular, she advises her clients in criminal proceedings as well as in international mutual legal assistance cases and advises on issues relating to sanctions law. Carina Fröhli provides legal advice in national and international sports law and supports clients in matters such as contract law or disciplinary proceedings (e.g. doping, ethics).
