Professional Career
David Wohlgemuth joined our firm as an attorney-at-law in 2024. He completed his studies in law and economics at the University of St. Gallen. Before being admitted to the bar in 2020, he completed internships in commercial law firms in Zurich and St. Gallen. Previously to joining our firm, David Wohlgemuth worked first in commercial law firms and then independently as an attorney-at-law in the area of litigation and arbitration.
David Wohlgemuth is a lecturer at the University of Zurich since 2022 where he works as a coach for the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court. Furthermore since 2024, he represents DIS40 as regional coordinator in Zurich.
Areas of expertise
David Wohlgemuth specializes in litigation and international arbitration. Next to his work as counsel, David Wohlgemuth also acts as arbitrator and administrative secretary in complex international arbitration proceedings under all major arbitration rules.
David Wohlgemuth further assists clients with contract and corporate law matters and advises in national and international sports law. He represents clients before the relevant instances, such as state courts and the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
David Wohlgemuth practices in German and English and has a basic understanding of Serbian.
