
Professional Career
Christoph Isler has been a member of our legal practice since 2002. He was originally a civil engineer and worked for eight years as a project leader on sites both in Switzerland and abroad. Christoph Isler completed his law degree in 2002 and was admitted to the Zurich bar in 2005.
Areas of Expertise
Christoph Isler has been advising clients in the machinery, electrical, HVAC and construction industry for the last 20 years. He drafts and negotiates contracts, enforces claims, and trains project managers in various areas of law. In addition, he litigates in the energy sector, in regulatory proceedings, mainly in the mobile telecommunication sector, and public procurement proceedings. Furthermore, he specialises in product safety in machinery construction and plant engineering.
Experience
During his career, Christoph Isler has, among others, carried out the following mandates:
- Assessment of a couple of hundered project contracts with contract values between CHF 500,000 and CHF 200 million.
- Negotiations of plant engineering contracts in Switzerland, the EU, North America, and China.
- Various litigation and arbitration proceedings in the machinery, electrical an construction sector.
- Advice and Litigation in the energy sector, with respect to mobile telecommunication antennas and public procurement.
- External counsel for various small and medium enterprises in the industry sector.
- Various trainings in claim management and product safety.
